Halloween Event for Fulltime Families

2023 Fulltime Families East Canada Hangout
September 10 to September 17, 2023

Sussex, New Brunswick Canada

Fulltime Families is hanging out in East Canada this September!  Come join us for a
week of fun September 10-17 in New Brunswick, Canada.  We will have multiple
activities for kids, coffee talks, mom and dad’s night out, potluck dinner, visiting
the Bay of Fundy and so much more!

Camping for the week of the hangout will be $210 USD + taxes.  All sites are back-in,
30amp, include a firepit and a picnic table.  Camping fees are an estimate based on
the current currency conversion rates.

The cost to attend the hangout will be $175.

Arriving early?  The Atlantic Balloon Festival takes place September 7-10, and is
located next to our campground. The campground offers dry camping sites for
$37/night ($111 for 3 nights for Sep 7-10). You can easily move to your regular
campsite on September 10 for the hangout.

All participants 16+ will be required to have a passport to cross the border.
Children under the age of 16 may cross the border with proof of US citizenship,
such as a birth certificate.

Fulltime Families Code of Conduct

Purpose:

We believe that the Fulltime Families community should be open for all families. We are committed to providing a family friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who chooses to join, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.

This formal code of conduct explains our expectations for behavior of all participants, minors included, and also explains consequences for any unacceptable behavior exhibited. This behavior is expected toward all hosts, participants, leadership, campground employees or volunteers, and anyone else that you come in contact with during the duration of any type of Fulltime Families event, community gathering, or member activity.

Expected Behavior:

1. Be kind, considerate, and respectful.

2. Refrain from all discriminatory, harassing, and demeaning actions and speech.

Unacceptable Behavior:

1. Harassment, physical, mental, or emotional abuse, intimidation, using derogatory or demeaning materials or conduct.

2. Harassment includes but is not limited to: offensive comments (written or verbal) related to ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation; intentional intimidation, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

3. Any physical abuse, including pushing, shoving, or use of any amount of physical force against a person.

4. Creating a disturbance that causes apprehension in a person.

5. Any boisterous or offensive language, including threats, profanity, or racial, religious, or ethnic slurs.

6. Assembling for the purpose of disturbing the peace or engaging in any behavior listed above.

7. Breaking listed rules of the venue or campground in which an event, community gathering, or activity takes place.

Consequences for Unacceptable Behavior:

Unacceptable behavior WILL NOT be tolerated in any form by adults or minors as this is a family friendly community. Anyone, adult or minor, that is asked to stop exhibiting unacceptable behavior will be expected to do so immediately. If a member continues to exhibit unacceptable behavior or the organizers feel that the first offense is severe, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate such as removal, suspension, or membership revocation. All of these will be done without refund.

Step 2: Register for the event.

Registration will open June 6th for Lifetime Members and June 8th for Annual Members.

The price of the East Canada Hangout is $175/family.

 

Step 3:  Book your camping reservation:

Booking information will be sent via email with your ticket confirmation, so please make sure to check your email (and spam folder). Site cost will be from $210/week. (This is an estimate based on the current currency conversion rates)

What are the cancellation policies for this event?

Hangout Fee Refunds:

  • Cancel before 7/12/23 to receive a full refund minus a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Cancel between 7/12/23–8/11/23 for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations after 8/11/23 will not be refunded.
  • Campsite cancellations and potential refunds will be handled by the campground and not FTF.
  • In the event that fewer than 5 families register, the event may be canceled or re-structured.
