Join us for our first Fulltime Families Creative Hangout – a two-week celebration of creativity, where we’ll explore crafts, art, music, and more! Whether you already making something every day or just looking for a fun new way to express yourself, this is the perfect event for you!
Expect hands-on activities such as kid’s crafts, adult painting projects, creative cooking challenges, and musical campfires—there’s something for everyone. Outdoor adventures will include hikes, campfires, and field trips to local art museums, farmers’ markets, and nature spots that will fuel your creative energy.
Community and connection are at the heart of Fulltime Families, and we’re excited to bring you together with like-minded individuals. Enjoy potlucks, campfires, dance parties, Mom and Dad nights out, and more as you bond with others who share your passion for creativity.
The event will take place at a beautiful campground just outside of Kansas City, a city known for its vibrant art scene and cultural offerings. From galleries and museums to local exhibitions, Kansas City is sure to inspire and elevate your artistic vision.
The campground offers fun for all ages, with a zero-entry pool, mini golf, sand volleyball, a gaga ball pit, and a lake for fishing—there’s always something exciting to do! For your convenience, there’s on-site dining, an ice cream shop, playgrounds, and hiking trails, all surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Whether you’re looking to ignite your creative spark or simply enjoy time in a welcoming community, this event is the perfect chance to try new things, share with others, and explore different creative outlets.

Dad’s & Mom’s Night Out
Dad’s & Mom’s will take turns going out for an evening of fun!
The cost for camping is $35-55/night, depending on site type, and includes full hook-ups. Weekly rates are available and have rates ranging from $30-50/night, depending on site type and location. Monthly rates are from $1050-$1100. Prices do not include tax. Prices include 2 adults, 3 kids (under 18), any additional people will incur a $5 per night fee. The campground offers equipment rentals for mini golf, basketball, volleyball, fishing, kayaking and hiking at a price of $5. Entry to the pool area costs $3 per person (3 and under is free). Booking information will be provided via email immediately after you secure your tickets.
Ticket prices for this Hangout will be $350 per family and gives you access to:

Step 1: Click the following link to register for the event. Your information will be shared with the campground so they can call you and book your site. You may opt for a 3 month payment plan or pay in full. To opt for the 3 month payment plan, simply choose the “Pay Deposit” option. The 10% Lifetime Membership discount will be manually refunded to you within 3-5 business days.

The price of the KC Creative Hangout is $350/family.
Step 3: Book your camping reservation:
Booking information will be sent via email with your ticket confirmation, so please make sure to check your email (and spam folder). Your site will cost $55 per night and include full hook-ups. Please see above for additional campground fees and information.

What are the cancellation policies for this event?
Hangout Fee Refunds:
- Cancel before 04/16/25 to receive a full refund minus a $45 cancellation fee.
- Cancel between 04/16/25–05/16/25 for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations after 05/16/25 will not be refunded.
- Campsite cancellations and potential refunds will be handled by the campground and not FTF.
- If you need to cancel, please click here and fill out the cancellation form.
- Must have 10 registered attendees to hold this event. If we do not reach 10 families by 30 days outside of the event, the event will be cancelled and full refunds will be issued.
