Do you take time to spread kindness and love? The Fulltime Families Explorers made a point of doing so this holiday season. Read on to learn how the Explorers went about this.

Kids Change the World

Raya and Calen shared cookies with police officers.

What We Did

All throughout the month of December these amazing young people came up with some awesome ways to spread joy. These kind young people made and shared gifts, food, cookies, and cards, donated old toys, gave ideas for gifts for Mother’s Day, visited seniors and thanked police officers, offered up their time and efforts to help neighbors, and sang carols for the elderly. Doing these things helped the Explorers see that even the simplest act of kindness can completely change a person’s day, week, or even their entire life.

Traveling Scouting

Kora made a wreath for a friend in need to help brighten their holidays.

What We Learned

We hope that the Explorers program will help the participants realize that they have the power to make the world a better place. This was the perfect project for teaching just that and the participants came away with a newfound love of helping others.

Traveling Boy Scouts
