Scouting on the road Explorers project

What We Did

All throughout the month of November, the Explorers put together some seriously cool thankfulness projects to share with the world. Some of the kids made “Thankful Trees” and created collages. Two participants put together awesome videos which they edited themselves, and one even wrote a song about the things she’s thankful for.

Not only were their grateful hearts evident, but their creativity was through the roof. Each project was a work of art.

What We Learned

One of the goals of Explorers is to help kids find what’s great about them and share their own unique light with the world. This project allowed the kids to do just that, while also giving them an opportunity to shine that light on all the awesome people, experiences, and things they are surrounded by. Additionally, doing this project helped the Explorers share the spirit of Thanksgiving with others and remind themselves of all the wonderful things they have to be thankful for.
